Budapest concerts: Maluma, Slash and Kuplung news

Budapest’s upcoming concert calendar includes an international tour stop, three open-air summer concerts and an arena production that grew out of a Hungarian film. The overview below separates the confirmed details from those that are still pending.

Budapest appears in Maluma’s tour plans, but details are still pending

Budapest has appeared among the stops on the Loco x Volver World Tour on Maluma’s official tour website. The artist’s website lists the Hungarian capital as part of the tour announced for 2027, meaning Budapest is included in the published international itinerary.

However, the most important practical details of the Budapest show have yet to be finalised. Question marks appear in place of the date and venue on the artist’s tour website, while MUSICDAILY reports that it is not yet known when or where the concert will take place. As a result, no start time, ticket prices or official ticket-sale date can yet be provided.

For now, the announcement therefore indicates a planned Budapest tour stop rather than a fully announced event. It is not yet possible to enter an exact date in the concert calendar, and the public cannot know for certain which Budapest venue will host the production.

This distinction is also important when buying tickets. Until a specific date, venue and official sales platform are published, any third-party ticket offers should be treated with caution. The next significant development is expected to be the release of these details.

According to Remezcla, Maluma paired the world tour announcement with a surprise mini-concert. This launch drew attention to the tour as a whole, but for audiences in Budapest, the finalisation of the local details remains the key issue.

It would also be premature to describe the Budapest set or the structure of the concert. For now, all that can be said with certainty is that the Hungarian capital appears on the announced itinerary, while the exact date and venue remain open questions.

Skillet, Slash and Joe Bonamassa are coming to Budapest Park

The first wave of international concerts for summer 2027 has appeared on Budapest Park’s official website. The programme includes three guitar-driven performances with distinct styles: Slash with Myles Kennedy, Joe Bonamassa and Skillet.

According to the venue’s programme, Slash feat. Myles Kennedy will perform on 14 July. Joe Bonamassa’s concert has been announced for 20 July, a date also listed on the Budapest Park event page and Live Nation Hungary’s website. Skillet will arrive at the Park on 29 July.

The three events take place in the same month, but they are not part of a single concert series. Each performance is a standalone event, so tickets, door times, start times and other admission conditions should be checked separately on the official event pages.

Musically, the announced evenings are also clearly distinct. Slash and Myles Kennedy’s joint performance is likely to appeal primarily to hard rock audiences, Joe Bonamassa’s concert centres on blues rock and guitar-led performance, while Skillet adds a more modern rock sound to the July programme. The three concerts may therefore reach a wider audience than a series focused on a single narrow genre.

Two official platforms list the same date and venue for Joe Bonamassa’s performance. Live Nation’s event page includes the Budapest concert in its programme, while Budapest Park presents the evening on a separate event page. Ticket prices and available ticket types should be checked on the current sales platform.

The three announcements form part of the first wave of next summer’s programme, so more performers may be added to the venue’s schedule later. Based on the dates already published, however, three standalone international concerts are scheduled for July.

Anyone planning to attend more than one event should pay particular attention to checking the dates and tickets. The close proximity of the dates makes the events easy to confuse, while admission rules, ticket categories and any age restrictions may vary from one concert to another.

Kuplung Zenekar comes to life for two nights at Budapest Arena

6 and 7 November 2026 · Papp László Budapest Sportaréna

Kuplung Zenekar, known from the film Hogyan tudnék élni nélküled?, will make its debut as a live concert production after appearing on the cinema screen. According to Budapest Arena’s official event page, Marics Peti, Ember Márk and Kirády Marcell will take to the stage, joined by special guest stars.

The first concert was announced for 6 November 2026, followed by an additional performance on 7 November appearing in the venue’s official programme. According to KultúraOnline, the second evening was announced due to high demand. The two consecutive dates show that the musical production connected to the film’s story has also attracted considerable attention as a standalone concert.

The show is closely linked to the film’s musical world. According to descriptions by KultúraOnline and Eventland, the production will feature Demjén hits heard in the film, as well as newer songs. The event is therefore not simply a film-related accompanying programme, but a large-stage version of the story’s fictional band.

What makes the concert distinctive is that the audience will not be watching a conventional performance by a long-established touring band. The production places the film’s characters, songs and atmosphere in a new setting, where the music takes centre stage as a standalone live show. This also offers a readily recognisable connection for those whose interest is primarily driven by the film’s story and cast.

With two evenings scheduled, it is particularly important to check the selected date when purchasing tickets. As the dates are consecutive, checking the time shown on the confirmation and the seat assigned to the relevant performance may help prevent mistakes. The official ticketing platform can provide up-to-date information on current ticket availability and admission details.

Kuplung Zenekar’s two Arena shows are a different type of programme from international tour stops or open-air summer concerts. The main attraction here is the combination of the familiar film world, popular songs and cast. The cinematic experience will continue in a standalone stage format over two consecutive evenings.
